The rich also cry is a proverb that finds expression in one of the states in Nigeria as the government convoy got stranded in flood.
It is not so surprising to Nigerians to experience certain hardships during the rainy season as the season comes with adverse effects on so many things.
This time around, the number one citizen of the state share in this hardship with fellow Nigerians in the state as his convoy experience difficulties in moving as a result of the flood.
The Edo state governor’s convoy at RCC Sapele road was faced with shame as even their car could hardly move in the flood.
Many Nigerians have trolled comments saying the road has been bad for ages with the state government not proffering solutions to the road.
The road is said to be a federal road but the question is are commuters on the road federal people?
Now that the governor of the state is affected. We surely hope that solutions will be provided.
