A video has surfaced online capturing the moment Nigerian street Disc Jockey, Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, lashed out at a partygoer for playing a song by the controversial singer, Portable.
The incident took place during one of DJ Chicken’s live-streaming parties at his residence, where he was entertaining an undisclosed number of attendees.
According to the video, DJ Chicken was in the midst of hosting his lively party when a partygoer decided to play ‘Azaman,’ a song by the contentious artist, Portable.
Instantly, DJ Chicken’s mood shifted, and he expressed strong disapproval of the song being played in his presence.
Reacting with visible anger, DJ Chicken shouted at the individual responsible for the song choice and even attempted to physically strike the person with his hand. In a moment of heightened frustration, the DJ opted for a different approach and hurled an object at the individual instead.
The incident left many partygoers stunned and concerned about the DJ’s behavior. Adding to the surprise, DJ Chicken quickly changed the music to that of Seyi Vibez, seemingly trying to divert attention from the altercation.
This incident has raised questions among his fans and the public, who are used to witnessing DJ Chicken’s lively and fun-loving persona during his live streams.
What has added more intrigue to this incident is DJ Chicken’s previous relationship with Portable.
In April of last year, the DJ had openly begged Portable for forgiveness and reconciliation, more than a year after their well-publicized falling out.
This unexpected outburst at the party appears to contradict his apparent efforts to mend fences with the controversial artist.
