Nigerians drag Former GWR holder, Lata Tondon over her action following Hilda Baci’s official record

Lata, the former holder of the longest individual cooking marathon record, has caused a stir online over her reaction after Guinness world records confirmed Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci’s record.

On Tuesday June 13, the Guinness World Records (GWR) announced Hilda Baci as the latest record holder with 93 hours 11 minutes.

The record was previously held by Chef Lata Tondon, from India, who cooked for 87 hours and 45 minutes in 2019.

The Indian celebrity chef, in response to Hilda Baci’s new feat, has made significant changes to her Instagram profile, removing any mention of her record and deleting her previous post congratulating Hilda Baci.

Lata’s reaction has got people fired up, especially Nigerians, who queried her for deleting her previous congratulatory messages to Hilda Baci.

Netizens quickly asked why she deleted her messages of encouragement and congratulations to Hilda as if she didn’t mean them.
