Skit maker and actor, Mr. Macaroni has reacted to the threats issued by Lagos State Parks Management Committee Chairman, Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo to Igbos ahead of this weekend’s governorship and house of assembly elections.
MC Oluomo, while addressing supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in a viral video, told Igbos who will not vote for the party to stay at home.
Reacting to this, Mr. Macaroni stated that threatening and intimidating voters is unlawful and should be condemned by all.
He also shared a video of Lagos State Commissioner of Police asking residents of the state to hold him accountable and responsible for the safety and protection of voters.
Mr. Macaroni tweeted;
“The Lagos State Commissioner of Police has asked us to hold him accountable and responsible for the safety and protection of voters. Dear sir, we are already being threatened. The people are counting on you sir. @LagosPoliceNG @BenHundeyin
“The people have every right to vote for any candidate of their choice. Let the people vote in peace!!! Threatening and intimidating voters is unlawful and should be condemned by all. We say No To Violence!!!”
