Crystal Palace coach Patrick Vieira refused to give a comment on the red card shown to Manchester United star, Casemiro during a match on Saturday, February 4.
It was reported earlier that Casemiro who will now miss three Manchester United matches, was shown the red card for choking Crystal Palace’s midfielder Will Hughes in a brawl that occurred during the match which ended 2-1 in favour of the Red Devils.
When asked for his comment on it, Vieira said he won’t be giving any because he doesn’t want to be punished by the Football Association.
He told BBC Sport;
“I was too far away to see it. I don’t want to get involved in that. I don’t want to get fined or suspended, so I will wait for your next question.”
Vieira’s side will hope to get their first win in six matches when they take on Brighton next week, while United will meet Leeds on February 8.
