This year’ concerts are expected to be bigger and better, considering the fact that Nigerian artists have dominated the music industry with the Afrobeats movement for some time now. These artists have topped musical charts, recording sold out concerts and bagging numerous international awards.
Two major concerts will be held on this day to the amazement of musical fans.
Nwantiti crooner, Ckay will be hosting his fans to a concert tagged, “Ckay Live in Concert “. The venue of the show is Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.
On the same night, Nigerian singer, songwriter and musician, Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu better known as Ric Hassani will be having his concert . The concert has been tagged “One Night Only” and will take place at Terra Kulture, V.I, Lagos. The show will also stage 2Baba, Darey Art- Alade, Niyola and Paul Play Dairo.
Mavin needs no introduction when it comes to having an all-star concert. For the first time in 10 years, the musical label will release a joint album and hold a Mavin All Star concert. The concert will feature all Mavin acts such as Rema, Ladipoe, Ayra Starr, Boy Spyce, Johnny Drille, Crayon and Bayanni This will take place at the Livespot Entatarium, Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.
Lagos will host one of the biggest artists in the country at the 2022 Afro Revolution. Performing artistes include Kizz Daniel, Flavour, Fireboy DML, Portable, Terry G, Oritsefemi, Durella, Mr Real, Candybleakz, Ladé, Jumabee, Tolibian and it will be on at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island.
On the same night, fans of “Buga” and “Odo” will be treated to some good music by Vadoo, Kizz Daniel. The event will take place at Eko Convention, V.I, Lagos. The sensational artist who has had a breakout year culminating in a global tour in major cities around the world and a performance at the opening of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar is set to bring the Afroclassic experience to fans and the audience in Nigeria. Tickets are between N20,000 for Early Bird Regular and N4,000,000 for Gold Table.
Adekunle Gold – Sensational singer, Adekunle Gold will be treating his fans to beautiful pieces of music at his ‘Catch Me If You Can’ concert in Lagos. The concert which will be the culmination of his world tour will take place on December 18, 2022, at the Eko Hotel, Lagos.
Flutterwave Flytime Fest 2022 will take place at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos on 21st, 22nd and 24th of December. The Multi-day festival will be headlined by A-list artistes like Wizkid and Asake. The 3 days concert has been broken down into:
Day 1: Rhythm Unplugged – December 21st 2022
Rhythm Unplugged is a music concert in West Africa. CEO of the Flytime Group, Cecil Hammond, organised the first concert in 2004. The annual concert is organised by Flytime Promotions, a subsidiary of the Flytime Group. For the last 18 years, Rhythm Unplugged has hosted international headliners, amazing talent and sensational moments. This year’s event will take place at Eko Convention, V.I, Lagos and will feature top artists such as Craig David, Omah Lay, Wande Coal, Adekunle Gold etc.
