“He is not a fantastic singer”

Wizkid’s ‘rap is dead’ controversial statement has undeniably sparked several reactions and debates while some, especially his fans accept and support his stance, the affirmation didn’t sit well with others.

To address the issue, Daddy Freeze in his usual routine launched a joint IG live session where he invited some music veterans such as Kas, Soso Soberekon, and Samklef to chip in their thoughts.

Soso while speaking avowed that Wizkid was a rapper at the initial stages of his career in Surulere, Lagos. Samklef who took it from there blew hot and further affirmed that Wizkid is not a fantastic singer.

He went on to draw a controversial comparison by asking if Iyanya and Wizkid perform at an audition, who will win?

Soso Soberekon who wasn’t ready for such a conversation averred that such a comparison wasn’t the topic on ground.
