US-based Prof. Uju Anya shares affectionate notes with lesbian lover on Twitter

Controversial Nigerian US-based Professor Uju Anya and her lesbian lover, Sirry Alang, have taken to their Twitter handles to express love for each other.

Anya made global news early this month when she attacked the late Queen of England Elizabeth II, before her demise.

Sirry who is a Professor as well, took to her handle recently, to express her love for Anya.

“Apropos of nothing, see my fav pic with my love. Audre Lorde’s Recreation comes closest to describing my reality in this ’ship. A stanza:

“Touching you I catch midnight as moon fires set in my throat    I love you flesh into blossom. I made you and take you made into me.”

Anya spotted the comment and replied;

“Oh wow!! Oh my darling!! This is so lovely You sweet, sweet woman!! You thrill me in ways I never imagined possible. Thank you”

Uju Anya who was formerly married to a man, last year, 2021, announced her divorce from her husband whom she had been separated from since 2017.

Taking to her Twitter on January 29, 2021, the professor revealed that her erstwhile husband knew about her sexuality before they got married.

She wrote;

“Been legally separated since 2017, but the final decree has just been filed. I’m now officially free to never marry anybody again. I told a dear friend I wish I could throw a huge divorce party, but we’re in a plague. This absolute darling sent me flowers.

“Thank you for your sweet congratulations, everyone! I’m so happy to move on to a new chapter of life and loving friendship with my ex-spouse and co-parent. Now I can remove the * when I tell fine aunties I’m single.

“To people imposing your strange obnoxious judgement on my divorce, because you resent that I am congratulated, joyful, loved, satisfied, and successful outside marriage, I wish you one day gain something I fought for and enjoy every single day: fulfillment. Life is very short.

“For those asking or new to my Twitter, I’m reposting a 2019 interview. Also, to be clear, I loved and dated women and men before marriage, and I married a man who knew this. It was during the marriage that I understood I’m not bisexual. I’m a lesbian.”
