Oklahoma woman who was being detained in the back of patrol car slipped off her handcuffs, barricaded herself in the car and proceeded to shoot a deputy with his own AR-15.
The incident occurred just outside of Oklahoma City and involved 36-year-old Rachel Zion Clay. She was initially detained for erratic behavior and was not going to be arrested. However, while in the back seat of the police car, she set herself free and found a switch to unlock and retrieve an assault rifle.
While barricading herself in the car, Clay shot at the deputy and civilians nearby. Everyone fortunately, sustained non-life threatening injuries and have been released from the hospital. Clay is now facing three charges of shooting with the intent to kill, and is being held on a $1 million bond.
