Danish Superliga club, FC Midtjylland have turned down AC Milan’s offer for their Nigerian star, Raphael Onyedika.
Serie A champions, AC Milan have been locked in talks with Midtjylland for several weeks but their €5m bid has been rejected by the latter.
Midtjylland is looking to sell the 21-year-old for around €8m.
Onyedika has been thoroughly scouted by AC Milan’s technical director, Paolo Maldini, and director of football, Frederic Massara.
The young midfielder is appreciated for his explosiveness and intelligence on the ball.
Onyedika arrived FC Midtjylland’s Academy as a youngster from local side, FC Ebedei in 2019.
The player has grown to become one of the key stars in the team following the departure of his compatriot, Frank Onyeka to Brentford last summer
