After the troubled season they just had, fans of the Los Angeles Lakers have no choice but to look up and hope for the best.
Surely things can’t get any worse than they were last season, right?
In fact, there is a chance that the team could be landing one of the biggest names in the game.
If that happens, they could greatly change their fate and perhaps even make the Finals again.

Lakers Lead is contemplating that possibility.
“Imagine LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving and the Lakers going against Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Malcolm Brogdon, and Celtics for Title #18,” they said on Twitter.
That is a tantalizing matchup that would drive up the ratings and captivate the NBA world – but will it actually happen?
A lot stands in the way of allowing this dream to become a reality.
KD & Kyrie
It’s been weeks but there has been little traction with the Irving and Durant situation in Brooklyn.
We aren’t sure where those two superstars are going.
In fact, there is a chance they won’t be going anywhere and could remain in Brooklyn in the upcoming season.
But if they do leave, it’ll radically shake up the entire league.
Durant has recently said that he could see himself playing in Boston, according to the latest rumors.
As for Irving, conventional wisdom suggests he would be heading to LA, greatly upping their chance of having a successful postseason.
This would be one heck of a Finals but many things have to happen before it can really be a possibility.
Right now, the Nets are hearing offers on both stars – but they aren’t pulling the trigger on any trade just yet.
