The drama surrounding Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets continues.
Following weeks of quiet, the latest rumors say that Durant is looking at both the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers as teams he’d like to join if the Nets give in to his demand and trade him.
But it remains to be seen if the Celtics are willing to pony up the huge assets that Brooklyn is asking for.

Here is one player who won’t be on the chopping block for Boston: Robert Williams III.
It is being reported that Williams is reportedly off limits in trade talks for Durant.
There are other big-name Boston stars who could be sent packing to Brooklyn in order to get Durant but Williams will not be one of them.
That is a good thing for Celtics fans because Williams has become a fantastic big man for the team.
Williams Winning
Williams has been a crucial part of Boston’s frontcourt.
Last season, he averaged 10 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2 assists.
He was pivotal when the team made it far into the postseason.
His importance was most noticeable when he was injured and the Celtics had a very difficult time stopping shots and grabbing boards.
Williams makes it all look easy and he fills out the roster, does his job well, and makes the team even more dangerous on both ends of the court.
The Nets would be happy to get Williams but that’s just something the Celtics can’t allow.
They are willing to give up others, such as Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart.
But the team is not going to carve itself up entirely in order to get Durant, no matter how good a player he is.
