Raheem Sterling has said that his target is to win the Champions League trophy with Chelsea.
Chelsea won the Champions for the second time in 2020-21, a trophy Sterling has never won.
Pep Guardiola has been unable to guide Sterling’s former club, Manchester City to glory in the competition thus far.
The 27-year-old has helped City to four Premier League titles, four league cups and FA Cup as a key player at the club.
“I haven’t played Champions League football with Chelsea yet. They have obviously won it. I haven’t. They have got bragging rights,” the England international told the English press on Thursday.
“But again, I am here to try to win it. I don’t know if I am better off here or there [at Man City] – it is not really my fault.
“I will just go out and try to help the team as I do every season.”
