LeBron James has proven himself to fans of the NBA and Los Angeles Lakers again and again.
The man’s lengthy career and success speak for itself and there is no doubt that he is one of the best players alive and easily one of the greatest to ever do it.
But when you get down to the real, raw numbers of James’ career, you see a man who has done some amazing things – things that entire teams cannot.
Total Playoff games since 2003-04:
LeBron James: 266
Miami Heat: 216
Boston Celtics: 212
San Antonio Spurs: 207
Golden State Warriors: 157
Los Angeles Lakers: 154
Cleveland Cavaliers: 152(h/t @FunFactsnStats) pic.twitter.com/5VZvafORzu

For example, the number of playoff games that James has been in since the 2003-04 season is astounding.
He has participated in 266 playoff games since entering the league.
That is more than the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Cleveland Cavaliers during that time.
James has made it into the postseason more often than whole teams.
That says something about him.
James In The Playoffs
It is very uncommon for James to miss the playoffs.
He is a terrific player during the regular season, of course, but he is built for the postseason.
That’s why it was so shocking and disappointing for Lakers fans to see their star player not make it into the playoffs last season.
James tried his hardest but the Lakers just didn’t have what it took and they couldn’t even get their chance at the play-in tournament.
James is hoping to change that in the upcoming season but he might be playing alongside the same guys from last season.
That means the team will need to change the way they play because they won’t be replacing many guys on the roster.
James wants back into the playoffs but he will need to fight hard to make that happen.
