A medical doctor took to Twitter to allege that her and other house officers have not been paid their January and February salaries.
Afrah Mohammed tweeted: “It’s 25th February. HOs have not been paid their January & February salaries.
“Retweet until it gets to gather some dust.
“They tell us to be patient. To be patient till when? We not only suffer physical trauma, but mental and emotional too.
“Silence will not change anything!”
Other doctors replied to her tweet by pointing out the hardships they are made to endure, including buying PPE they use in treating patients with their personal money despite not being paid.
