Sierra Leone goalkeeper Mohammed Nbalie Kamara has received a signed jersey from iconic Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
Kamara produced a stellar performance in between the sticks for the Leone Stars at the 2021 African Cup of Nations, which drew a lot of praise from both pundits and fans.
Key among his performance was a show-stopping display against North African giants Algeria, where Kamara was adjudged the man-of-the-match.
His heroics were not appreciated on the continent alone as former Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon joined the train of praise singers four months after the tournament came to an end.
The 2006 FIFA World Cup winner, who currently plays for Parma aged 44, gifted Kamara a signed jersey as a reward for his amazing display at the 2021 AFCON.
In photos posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, Kamara received the signed jersey via Buffon’s teammate at Parma and Nigeria international Simy Nwankwo.
