The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has emerged as the winner of the party’s presidential primary.
He obtained 1,271 votes to defeat his closest rivals, ex-minister Rotimi Amaechi and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Now according to Nigeria political system or structure rather, Muslim-Muslim cannot go. Christian-Christian cannot go.

Also, North-North and South-South cannot go. It must be the other way around.

Tinubu is a Muslim and currently leading in votes, a potential winner and will surely pick a Northerner as a running mate.
