Bayern Munich and Barcelona have reportedly opened talks concerning the future of Robert Lewandoski at the Bundesliga club.
Transfer News expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official Twitter account on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022. According to reports, the Bavarians are ready to listen to offers from Barcelona but they are asking for more money for negotiations to continue.
The Polish striker had earlier in the season said that he wants his contract to be renewed before the expiration of his current deal but the club do not seem to like that offer. However, the 34-year-old seems interested in joining Barcelona on a two-year deal which will keep him at the Catalonia club until the summer of 2024.
Bayern Munich are reportedly looking for a new striker should in case they get to lose Lewandowski when the transfer window opens.
