The Osun State Government has urged Christians to reflect and emulate the sterling virtues of Jesus Christ.
This is according to a message of felicitation by Funke Egbemode, the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation to Christians in the state to mark the year 2022 Easter celebration.
In the message, the Osun government charged Christians and citizens to reflect on the teachings and life of Jesus Christ, whom it described as an example of service and sacrifice.
Stressing the importance of harmonious and peaceful living amongst its citizens, the government harped on acts of love and good neighbourliness.
It also called on citizens to seize the opportunity of the season to remain steadfast in prayers for the peace and progress of the State, adding that as a government, it would continue to commit itself to the wellbeing of the people.
