The intensity of the conversation around and about the 2023 general elections has gotten tough since the early hours of today as Osinbajo declares his intention to run for presidency.
Since 1999, Tinubu and Osinbajo have enjoyed a cordial political relationship. Osinbajo served as the attorney-general of Lagos when the Tinubu was the governor of the state.
On Monday, the vice-president unveiled his presidential bid after months of speculation and denial — meaning Tinubu, who declared his bid back in January, will have to square up against Osinbajo, who is regarded as his “political son”.
Shortly after Osinbajo declared his presidential ambition, Tinubu met with 12 APC governors in Abuja to officially announce to them his ambitions after Osinbajo had earlier held a similar meeting on Sunday night.
However, A lot of people have have tagged Osinbajo as a betrayer for not putting in ambitions on hold for Tinubu who brought him to light.
Some have however praised him for being courageous, and have passed their vote of confidence on Osinbajo praising him for not disappointing Nigerians since his appointment as the vice President.
However, with the presidential election still wide open for everyone, we all have our choice of candidacy. Remember we voted for a party and not the candidate the last time.
So Guys, if today is election day and you have to vote for either Tinubu or Osinbajo
