Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, is on Manchester United’s five-man list of candidates to become their next manager at Old Trafford in the summer, as reported by Daily Mail on Wednesday.
Man United are monitoring Tuchel’s situation and are aware of his potential availability amid the ongoing chaos at Chelsea.
Tuchel has said he will stay in charge of Chelsea until at least the end of the season, but his long-term future at Stamford Bridge is likely to hinge on who succeeds Roman Abramovich as owner.
Apart from Tuchel, Sevilla’s Julen Lopetegui, Spain coach Luis Enrique are also joined long-term contenders Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauricio Pochettino and Ajax’s Erik ten Hag on the list of candidates to take over from Ralf Rangnick at Man United.
Recall that Man United appointed Rangnick on an interim basis.
The German replaced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last year.
