Florence Otedola, a Nigerian Disc Jockey known as DJ Cuppy, has proudly stated that she is the most followed woman on the microblogging site Twitter NG.
The news comes as a data and analytics website revealed the top ten most followed Nigerian handles.
The rankings are dominated by renowned musicians, with Davido leading the pack with 14.58 million followers.
Wizkid comes in second with 12.39 million followers, while Burna Boy comes in third with 9.03 million followers.
DJ Cuppy is ranked eighth on the list with 6.23 million followers, outperforming her female counterparts Tiwa Savage (ranked ninth with 6.08 million followers) and Simi (ranked tenth with 5.54 million followers).
Notably, these three women are the only females to feature in the top 20 of the most followed Twitter handles in Nigeria.
Reacting to the exciting news, DJ Cuppy took to Twitter to share her accomplishment and playfully challenged anyone doubting the accuracy of the data to “argue with their keypads.”
