Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, has passed away.
Odukoya was said to have died in the United States of America in a post on the church’s official Facebook page on Tuesday.

- Odukoya was born on June 15, 1956, in Kaduna, where he also received his upbringing.
- After completing his primary school at Baptist Primary School, he continued his secondary education at St. Paul’s College in Zaria (now known as Kufena College, Wusasa) and Kigo Road in Kaduna.
- He began his post-secondary study in 1976 at the University of Ibadan, where he graduated in 1981 with a degree in petroleum engineering.
- After completing his one-year National Youth Service Corps program, he was hired as a petroleum engineer by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in April 1982. After being called to the ministry, he remained there until his voluntary retirement in January 1994.
- Odukoya and Bimbo Williams wed in 1984 after meeting at the University of Ibadan in 1980.
- In 1992, the two co-founded The Fountain of Life Church, which went on to become well-known for instructing both men and women in the skills of developing fruitful relationships and in the fundamentals of leadership.
- On December 10, 2005, the tragic Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 took the lives of Pastor Odukoya’s wife, Bimbo.
- He remarried on January 5, 2010, to South African native Rosemary Simangele Zulu, who passed away from cancer in November 2021.
