The Los Angeles Police Department is on the hunt for the driver who hit a man on his moped in downtown L.A. and then left from the scene.
Miguel Velazquez, 20, just left work and reportedly stopped at a red light on 3rd Street at Flower Street when the driver of a blue Mini Cooper came behind him at high speeds and collided into the back of his moped.
“Honestly I’m grateful to be alive,” he said. “That is the biggest blessing of this entire situation.”
