Veteran gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele, marks his 25th year after surviving a ghastly car accident where he sustained a spinal cord injury.
In 1997 during the peak of the singer’s fame, he was involved in a car accident with his Volks Wagon Beetle after which he was hospitalized for months.
Yinka Ayefele who walks with the aid of a wheelchair counts his blessing as he recounted the incident after 25 years.
While sharing photos from the accident scene, Ayefele wrote in an Instagram post;
“Its exactly 25 years ago today..Just keep thanking God on my behalf…It Was on the 12th of December 1997. My Turing point…I shall forever be grateful to the owner of my destiny,” he wrote.
