Nigerian singer, Timaya has been arrested for allegedly hitting a lady yesterday, around Ikate area in Lekki, Lagos.
The sister of the victim took to social media to call out Timaya for nearly ending her sister’s life with his car and running off. She shared a video of her sister in the hospital crying of pains.
According to her, she tried reaching out to him on Instagram, but Timaya went ahead and blocked her.
Nigerians on Instagram went ahead to help the victim by tagging Timaya to take responsibility for his actions. Some even advised the lady and her family to report the matter to the police if he refuse to respond.
Apparently, the victim’s family finally reported the accident to the police cause Timaya was arrested at his residence this morning.
