The 2023 Nigerian presidential electionwill be held on 25 February 2023 to elect the president and vice president of Nigeria.
Incumbent APC President Muhammadu Buhari is term-limited and cannot seek re-election for a third term.
Our ballot paper should be like this because in the true sense of it, it is actually the individual with his vice that we are voting for.
All the elections conducted in Nigeria in the past, the ballot paper just carried only party logos. But it is not the party we vote that leads us after the elections but the individual.
Almost all the countries in Africa has both the face, the name of the candidate, his/her running mate, and the party logo on their ballot papers.
INEC Nigeria should adopt a ballot paper with candidate pictures and party logos printed on it. That would help individuals vote for their choice.
Also, the presidential election should be held on a different day from the House of Assembly and Reps. If possible, the Presidential election should come first before any other.
To me, it would make sense more than the former.
