Junior Pope, a father of three, lost his life in a boat accident while en route to a movie shoot in a riverine area last year. Remembering the heartbreaking incident, Edochie took to Instagram to pour out her emotions in a heartfelt tribute.

Titled “The Agony of Losing a Child,” her post expressed the lingering sorrow and disbelief she still feels. She wrote that the memory of that day remains vivid, as though it happened just yesterday, and admitted that her heart continues to ache deeply.

“No parent should ever have to endure this kind of pain,” she shared, revealing that the tears she’s shed over the past year could fill an ocean. Her grief only intensifies when she recalls the joyful memories they shared — his energetic spirit, their laughter, and his unwavering presence.
