Not much is coming out from the Green Bay Packers over the last couple of weeks.
It has been so stale that head coach Matt LaFleur’s main concern is their JUGS machines because they are awful.
That’s why the team is making a change, as shared by The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman.

Without question, more NFL teams will follow suit, especially when the results are great.
It’s another ingenious preparation for the upcoming games, especially for those on special teams.
The Packers Need Help At Special Teams
Based on last season’s performance, the Packers badly need help on special teams.
The JUGS machine could help to a certain extent, especially in mimicking how punts hang in the air.
But they also need better players on that facet of the game to prevent the other squad from taking advantage.
Last year’s Divisional Round showdown revealed the struggles that the Packers’ special teamers deal with.
As a result, the San Francisco 49ers did not miss a beat and won over the Packers on the road.
That defeat lasted a bitter taste among the Packers’ think tank, so much so that LaFleur wants one of these machines.
Only time can tell if using the JUGS pays off.
