Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have filed a $28 million against Triller after the company failed to pay for the popular music battle show.

As previously reported, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland agreed to sell Verzuz to Triller in January 2021. However, their lawsuit claims the social networking platform defaulted on the deal after making two payments. In response to the failed financial plan, Swizz and Timbaland are suing for more than $28 million plus interest, as reported by TMZ.

Triller has yet to release a statement regarding the suit, but this is not the first time the company has faced legal issues. In 2020, the company promised to pay $14 million to 300 Black creators if they switched from TikTok. The creators said they have yet to see any funds from the platform.
