Ex-Big Brother Naija Housemate, Thelma has shared her terrible experience while living with one of her relatives as a kid.
Thelma shared via the micro-blogging platform, Twitter that a relative that she lived with, as well as, her husband maltreated her while she was with them.
According to her, the relative flogged her so much and at a point, she spat into her mouth so she could infect her with HIV, but God delivered her after a woman informed her mother of the maltreatment she is being subjected which prompted her mom to come for her.
She further revealed that these people who treated her unkindly died of HIV/AIDS shortly after she was taken away from them.
In her words: “Years ago when I was a kid staying with a relative of mine, she was married and was living with her husband but no child. This woman would flog me koboko in the night for no reason and the
husband would wake me up with koboko in the morning telling me it’s his turn. 2 things I can’t forget:
How she flogged me one day and spat into my mouth.
How God used a woman from my place to save me by traveling home to tell my mum to come to
carry me before I die. Long story short.
Few weeks after I left, the woman died afterward, the man died too. It was said that they were both living with HIV and AIDS and that woman wanted me to contract it by pitting into my mount but God said NO! I don’t know where they are now but I forgive them”
