The 2022-23 NBA season hasn’t begun – the schedule hasn’t even been officially announced – but people are already looking far, far ahead.

It’s never too early for people to speculate about who will have a great season and even make it into the postseason.

It’s also not too early to guess who will win the Finals, even though they are nearly a year away.

Currently, the Boston Celtics have the best odds of winning the Finals, according to BetMGM.

They are at +450 on the betting market, while the Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks are close behind with +600.

The Los Angeles Clippers are in third place while the Phoenix Suns are now fourth while the Philadelphia 76ers round out the top five.

There are other well-known teams in contention for the best odds before the season starts but right now it looks like the Celtics are the team to beat.

Boston’s Back

It’s not a huge surprise to see the Celtics with such an advantage over other teams in the betting markets.

They made it to the Finals last season and their offseason moves have been strategic and smart so far.

The team hasn’t been radically transformed but all the acquisitions made have been intelligent choices to make the team more powerful.

Their chemistry and culture could be even stronger when the new season begins.

But no one should count out the Warriors or Bucks, who are the last two champions and are still incredibly strong teams.

The truth is that next season could be a wild one with multiple teams battling it out for the top spot.

NBA fans would have it no other way.
