The event attended by friends and families of the Nollywood star was held over the weekend somewhere in Lagos state.
Photos and videos from the event were posted on Instagram on Sunday.
In one of the videos, Nkechi was captured distributing dildos (an artificial erect penis) as souvenirs to guests as she cekeberates her late mother, Mrs Gloria Sunday, one year after her death.
Before distributing the dildos, Nkechi Blessing announced at the remembrance ceremony,:
“I am not trying to say men are scum cos I have a man but you sometimes need to help yourself for when you don’t have a man, this is my souvenir for the single ladies here, to help yourself”

The act has since sparked an uproar on social media with many condemning and criticizing the actress for choosing to disrespect her late mum.
