It took the Miami Dolphins one offseason to build a squad that can hopefully end their postseason drought.
They came close to doing so during Brian Flores’ tenure with 10-6 and 9-8 records.
However, Miami still fell short of the postseason, stretching their drought to five seasons.
Worst yet, they haven’t won a playoff game since 2000 even if they entered the playoffs in 2001, 2008, and 2016.
This time, they hope that key additions like Cedrick Wilson, Chase Edmonds, and Tyreek Hill will help the squad get over the postseason hump.
Joining forces with the likes of Mike Gesicki and Jaylen Waddle gives the Dolphins a formidable unit on offense.
But as they have acquired talent, they are also relegating others, as NFL Network national insider Ian Rapoport shared.

A Quick Glance At Shaheen’s Career
The post says it all as Shaheen hopes to jumpstart his career.
Sadly, the Ohio native hasn’t done much for both the Dolphins and the Chicago Bears.
Shaheen was selected in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft and lasted three seasons with the Bears.
After which, he was traded to the Dolphins during the 2020 offseason in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick.
This month, the Dolphins tried to trade him and their 2023 seventh-round pick to the Houston Texans for the team’s 2023 sixth-rounder.
Unfortunately, the trade was canceled because he failed the physical.
The former Ashland standout has started 25 out of 55 total games played and has 50 receptions for 509 yards and seven touchdowns.
