Mourinho Reveals Roma Player He Will Buy New Shoes For After 2-0 Win At Genoa

Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, has revealed he promised Felix Afena-Gyan a new pair of shoes, before their 2-0 win over Genoa on Sunday.
Mourinho also vowed the Ghana midfielder will not be playing for their youth side anymore.

On his third professional appearance, the 18-year-old, who came on in the 75th minute, netted two incredible goals in the Serie A fixture.

“I promised him that [if he scored] I would buy him a pair of shoes that he really likes, that cost 800 euros.

“So he came over to me and told me not to forget that! Tomorrow morning I will go and buy them.

“Then tomorrow after the Primavera [youth side] will be playing – and I’m sorry for Alberto De Rossi but Felix won’t be playing with them,”

Mourinho said after the game.
