“I am really excited about being part of the process and joining the voting Committee this year.”

Recall Forbes named Mo Abudu the 99th most powerful woman in the world in 2022.

The financial journal ranked Abudu, the creator of EbonyLife Group, among the top 100 most important and powerful women in the world.

She was honoured for her remarkable contributions to the media and entertainment industries.

Some of the reasons she made the list were her partnerships with Sony Pictures Television, AMC Networks, and Netflix.

The partnership with Netflix was the first time an African media organization struck a multi-title film and television deal with the streaming giant.
