I think influencers should be arrested for misleading their followers.
We’ve seen influencers mislead their fans and followers to invest in fake businesses and Ponzi scams, yet none of them were held accountable.

The recent one shook Nigerians to the bone. Chinmark and Ovaioza scammed Nigerians allegedly to the tune of 10 billion naira, thanks to their numerous social media influencers.

Recently, Mercy Aigbe took to social media to share a misleading advert.

She advertised a certain weight loss product and claimed she lost heavy weight when in fact she was never fat!

Most of these so called celebrities don’t actually rate their fans. Some might call this cruise, but in sane countries, she would be invited for questioning. This is wrong! She’s misleading her fans.
