Man United Finally Want To Sell Star Man Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United have finally agreed to allow Cristiano Ronaldo leave Old Trafford but only to a foreign club.
The 37-year-old, who is being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, will not be sold to Thomas Tuchel’s Blues.

Ronaldo announced on Saturday that he will be seeking to continue his football career elsewhere after missing out on all trophies available in England and Europe last season.

The Portugal international is keen on playing in the Champions League next season.

Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, held discreet talks with Chelsea last week as the Blues appear to be the most interested party for him.

However, having initially insisted that the 37-year-old was not for sale, ESPN now reports that the Red Devils have changed stance and they now concede that they will have to entertain offers for Ronaldo.

But ESPN reports that the Red Devils will not consider selling to a direct rival and would let Ronaldo see out the final 12 months of his contract if the only offer comes from within the Premier League.

They believe that keeping the forward against his will could be a bigger problem than letting him go.
