Neighbors, a man has been arrested and charged with hitting a group of people outside a well-known gay bar in Chicago earlier this month. The incident left three people dead, and a fourth injured.


Tavis Dunbar, 34, was hit with several charges from three counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. This comes a week after he struck the group of men while they were fighting outside the Jeffery Pub back on on Aug. 14.

Police said one the victims landed on the next block, according to a police report.

Tavis surrendered to police Monday, according to Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown, after he was allegedly identified as the driver who “intentionally struck” the group.
