Man narrowly escapes death as speeding tipper rams into him in Rivers

One Raphael Abraham narrowly escaped death on Friday March 5, when a speeding tipper driver rammed into him and a Mercedes Benz at Eliozu Junction in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

It was gathered that the driver of tipper lost control when the traffic warden stopped the lane abruptly forcing him to ram into the car, damaging the bumper beyond repair.

Occupants of the vehicle sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.

The truck hit Abraham, who was standing at the scene of the accident and pushed him into a gutter but he miraculously survived with minor head injuries and bruises.

Meanwhile, the driver of the tipper has been moved to the Eliozu police station for investigation.
