Lagos Disbands MOT Taskforce (Read Details)

The Ministry of Transportation Taskforce, a Lagos State government enforcement team, had its operations prohibited yesterday.
Speaking on the ban, Sola Giwa, the recently appointed Special Adviser to the Governor Bababjide Sanwo-Olu on Transportation, who made the announcement, said the decision was made following a careful evaluation and review of the enforcement teams working under the Ministry of Transportation, which he said needed to be scaled back.

Giwa said:-
“Based on this new directive, the public is hereby enjoined to report the activities of any unauthorised enforcement team disguising to be M.O.T TASKFORCE to the Ministry of Transportation for onward reporting to the Police for possible prosecution.”
