Kyle Kuzma Put Up A Legendary Performance This Summer

We have seen a few NBA stars shine in pro-am games over the last few weeks but Kyle Kuzma of the Washington Wizards just put most of those players to shame.

Obviously, pro-am games come with a lesser degree of difficulty and intensity, especially for guys who play against stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James, and Joel Embiid all year long.

But that doesn’t mean they are complete walks in the park, they can still be pretty hard.

Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma dropped 67 POINTS in the Utah Powder League Pro-Am Showcase yesterday. 🤯

Apparently not for Kuzma.

The forward scored 67 points in the Utah Powder League Pro-Am Showcase on Wednesday.

He did so alongside his teammate Delon Wright while facing off against Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes of the Toronto Raptors and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope of the Denver Nuggets.

No one was able to slow Kuzma, who is hoping to have a stellar upcoming season with his Wizards.

Kuzma Continues

During his first season with the Wizards, Kuzma put up 17.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.

Strong numbers, no doubt, but the team still suffered after a hot start and didn’t even make the playoffs.

Kuzma has been painfully inconsistent at times during his career, especially during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers.

There were games when it seemed like he couldn’t miss and then there were some when it seemed like he couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn.

Moving forward, Kuzma wants to prove that he is a special, talented player and someone he can be counted on.

The Wizards are hoping Kuzma continues to improve and grow while in Washington – they see him as a possible team leader and perhaps someone who could guide the team forward alongside Bradley Beal.
