It has been a very interesting summer for Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets.
It started with a huge announcement: Durant told the Nets that he wants to be traded from the team.
After that, not a lot of news leaked outside of the organization, and there was a moment when it seemed like maybe Durant would stick around in Brooklyn and give the team another chance.
Well, that got shaken up last weekend when it was revealed that Durant had again repeated his desire to leave the Nets.
But where will he go?

The latest rumor says that Durant sees the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics as “desired landing spots” for himself.
That might be what he desires but the Nets have made it clear that they will not settle for any offer short of fantastic.
Therefore, Durant can hope and wish all he wants but that doesn’t mean he’ll get it.
Durant Drama Continues
The Nets aren’t going to trade Durant unless they get a package that is incredible.
They want All-Stars and first-round draft picks.
Anything less than that and the Nets will just sit on their hands.
So, while Durant sees the 76ers and Celtics as possible new homes for him, he isn’t guaranteed anything.
Both of those teams have some stars and draft picks to give up but unless they create the perfect combination of both, the Nets won’t hear them out.
If either of those teams is serious about getting Durant, they will need to put real effort into giving the Nets something special.
The Celtics have reportedly already tried to land Durant but Brooklyn balked at their offering.
