Kate Middleton’s gown appears on the Emmys 2022 red carpet

All eyes on England.

Royal fashion fans with their mind on the US might have done a double take while watching the Emmys 2022 red carpet arrivals.

Actress Caitlin Mehner – who is married to “Dopesick” writer/director Danny Strong — hit the September, 12, award show in the same green glittering Jenny Packham gown Kate Middleton wore earlier this year.

For her Emmys moment, Mehner, 38, wore her blond hair in long, loose waves and rocked a classic red lip, going jewelry-free other than a large gold cocktail ring — a quite different route than Middleton took back in March.

The frothy emerald “Wonder Glitter” dress ($5,025) was a fashion highlight of the new Prince and Princess of Wales’ Caribbean tour, with the royal, 40, sporting the dress for a formal dinner in Kingston, Jamaica this spring.

Featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline with ruffle accents, the romantic gown is scattered with crystals across the neckline, bodice and full skirt.

Queen Elizabeth II’s jewels took the spotlight on Middleton, with the then-duchess wearing her hair in an elegant updo to showcase the late Queen’s enormous emerald-and-diamond tassel earrings.

The royal also added the Queen’s matching bracelet and pinned her Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II and the Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order on her gown, adding extra special bling.

Whether it’s an event for Hollywood royalty or actual royalty, this is one dress that stuns for any occasion.
