Kanayo O Kanayo lambasts African Chefs planning to surpass Hilda Baci’s 100-hour cooking feat

Veteran Actor, Kanayo O Kanayo, has taken to social media to express his anger at African Chefs who recently disclosed their mission to surpass Hilda Baci’s 100-hour cooking feat.

Hilda has been making headlines on social media after cooking at Amore Gardens, Lagos, for over 100 hours.

The Nigerian Chef, if certified by Guinness World Records, would overtake Indian chef Lata Tondon, who currently still holds the record for the longest cooking hours.

However, as Nigerians awaits GWR’s approval, a renowned chef from Liberia, Wonyean Aloycious, via his social media, promised to challenge Hilda’s cooking ‘record’.

Also, a popular Kenyan chef, Maliha who broke 2 Guinness records in 2017 and 2019,  vowed to challenge Hilda Baci’s ‘record’ in August in a cooking marathon.

Reacting, Actor Kanayo, in a new video, vented and express sadness over the African Chefs trying to cut Hilda’s celebration short.

The Nollywood legend captioned the video:

Why did some people wait for @hildabaci to cook for 100 hours to discover that they can cook longer than her. When they say Africans have problems, this is part of it.

Those Nigerians and other Africans suddenly woke up to cook. Please create your own niche”
