Joe Rogan references 14-year-old daughter in abortion debate

Joe Rogan has clashed with a conservative commentator during a heated debate about abortion — even bringing up his own young daughter during the skirmish.

The polarizing podcaster — who has previously stated he is “100% for a woman’s right to choose” — referenced the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade with guest Seth Dillon on his Tuesday episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

“There are women who have been raped who should not have to f- -king carry some rapist’s baby,” Rogan decried. “There’s women who have been sexually assaulted before the age of 14.”

Dillon — who is the founder and CEO of satirical news site The Babylon Bee — hit back, expressing his pro-life point of view.

“There are people who have been born of rape and are alive right now, and are pro-life,” Dillon stated. “They go around speaking and say how, ‘I had a right to live.’ They will go around and make a case, and they were born of a rape.”

Rogan firmly disagreed, responding: “You don’t have the right to tell a 14-year-old girl she has to carry a rapist’s baby. Do you understand what you’re saying? You don’t have the right to tell my 14-year-old daughter she has to carry her rapist’s baby.”

The star is a father to 14-year-old Lola whom he shares with his wife, Jessica Ditzel. The couple also has a younger daughter, Rosy, 12. Rogan is also a step-father to Ditzel’s older daughter, Kayja Rose, 23, from a previous relationship.

The podcaster continued: “You understand that it’s a 14-year-old child. A 14-year-old child gets raped, you say that they have to carry that baby?”

Dillon stood firm in his view, replying: “I don’t think two wrongs make a right. I don’t think murder fixes a rape.”

The exchange was shared on Twitter by pro-life advocate Lola Rose, with some viewers expressing surprise that Rogan was pro-choice given that the popular pundit is often considered a conservative.

However, in an episode of his podcast late last month, the star insisted he was actually a “bleeding heart liberal when it comes to a lot of s- -t.”

“People will say like, ‘Oh, you know, you’re a secret conservative.’ Like you can suck my d- -k,” Rogan said.

“You don’t know what the f- -k you’re talking about. I’m so far away from being a Republican,” he declared. “Just because I believe in the Second Amendment and just because I support the military and just ’cause I support police.”

Rogan went on to say that he supported leftwing social policies, claiming: “I was on welfare as a kid. I think it’s important. I think having a social safety net is crucial. We should help each other. We’re supposed to be one big community.”

The star, who signed a $200 million exclusive licensing deal with Spotify in 2020, hit headlines earlier this year when rockers including Neil Young and Joni Mitchell pulled their catalogs from the streaming service, accusing Rogan of disseminating “misinformation” about COVID-19.
