Ilebaye, a contestant in the BBNaija Season 8 All-Stars edition, has emerged as the winner of the 2023 reality TV show.
The announcement was made by the show’s host, Ebuka, on Sunday, October 1.
The 22-year-old emerged as the winner, leaving Mercy Eke in the second position. Ilebaye will take home a grand prize of N120 million, a weekend getaway for two, and an SUV, among other rewards.
Cynthia Nwadiora, popularly known as CeeC, secured the third position, following Ilebaye and Mercy Eke.
CeeC, at 30 years old, was the runner-up in the third season, Double Wahala, in 2018.
Adekunle Olopade, aged 28, was revealed as the third runner-up by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Sunday.
Pere Egbi, 38, and Cross Okonkwo, 33, were named the fourth and fifth runners-up, respectively.
During her diary session earlier on the same day, Ilebaye shared her plans if she were to win the show and its grand prize.
She expressed that her first reaction would be the end of all her worries, believing that winning would be a testament to the fact that God hears and fulfills her heart’s desires.
The thought of possessing such a substantial amount left Ilebaye astounded.
Biggie, the show’s organizer, kindly pointed out that having that amount would undoubtedly make her the youngest multimillionaire in her family.
Notably, before her victory in this season, Ilebaye had previously been evicted from the show weeks before the finale in her previous season.
However, in the 2023 All Stars edition, out of the six finalists, Ilebaye was the only one who had never reached the finals before.
With only six finalists out of the original 24 contestants, Ilebaye walked away with the grand prize of a whopping ₦120 million.
