Ighalo Sends Strong Warning To Chelsea Ahead Of Club World Cup Clash After Scoring In Al Hilal Debut

Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, opened the scoring in a 6-1 hammering of Al-Jazira, to get his Al-Hilal career off to a perfect start.
The result sealed victory for the Saudi Arabian club in the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup.

Ighalo signed for Al-Hilal this January after leaving their rivals, Al-Shabab.

It only took the 32-year-old half an hour to open his account for the club.

Al-Hilal went behind in the 14th minute to a Abdoulay Diaby goal.

However, Ighalo made it 1-1, before Al-Hilal took the lead in the 40th minute through Matheus Pereira.

Mohamed Kanno made it three in the 57th minute before Salem Al-Dawsari extended the lead 13 minutes before time.

Late goals from Moussa Marega and André Carrillo completed a 6-1 rout for Leonardo Jardim’s men.

Their reward for the victory is a semi-final date with European champions, Chelsea.
