Gisele Bündchen has ‘zero desire’ to return to the runway

Gisele Bündchen is happy to leave the runway in the rear view.

The Brazilian beauty, 42, quit the catwalk in 2015 to spend time in Boston with her husband, former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady — returning only once, to represent her country during the opening ceremony of the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel and the seven-time Super Bowl champ are proud parents to Benjamin 12, and Vivian, 9. They now live in Florida, as Brady plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

And regardless of whether Brady, 45, finally retires from the sport for good, Bündchen told Elle she has “zero desire” to start runway modeling again.

“Believe me, every year [designers] ask, ‘Please, Gisele, do the runway,’” she said.

She’ll still star in photoshoots, however, so don’t expect to forget her famous face (or bod) anytime soon.

“It’s very easy for me to go there and create a character and play that role for the day,” Bündchen said of posing on set. “It fuels me … I feel inspired to go and create more beautiful things in the world in different ways, too.”

These days, the “Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life” author has stepped so far outside the industry, she admitted the recent Victoria’s Secret rebrand is “not even on [her] radar,” and she didn’t offer her husband advice when he launched his clothing line, Brady, as he’s the one who “loves fashion.”

Bündchen also opened up to the mag about her relationship with her sports-star spouse, following Page Six’s report that the couple are in an “epic fight” stemming from Brady’s continuing football career.

“This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” she told Elle, adding, “Ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”

Continued the supermodel, “I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [my husband]. I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams.”
