Fury calls off fight with Anthony Joshua

Tyson Fury has said he will not be fighting Anthony Joshua because no contract was signed after his Monday ultimatum.

On Sunday, Joshua said he would sign the contract to fight Fury after the WBC champion issued an ultimatum if the all-British heavyweight battle is to take place in early December.

Fury did not only give Joshua till Monday but posted on social media that he had until 5 pm else the deal was off.

He later went on to say the deal was off.

“It’s official. The day has come and gone. It’s gone past 5 pm Monday, no contract has been signed. It’s officially over for Joshua. He’s now out in the cold with the wolfpack. Forget about it”, Fury posted.

He wished Joshua well in his career and life, adding that he always knew he “didn’t have the minerals to fight the Gypsy King”.
